This is the job Join the DevOps core platform team in the telecom domain, playing a key role in a platform transformation. You will design, build, and automate the foundational platform capabilities that enables the developers to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable software. This role is primarily focused on backend platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps tooling, with frontend work for internal dashboards and developer portals. This is you Required Experience • 5+ years professional software engineering experience • Strong backend engineering with Node.js/NestJS • Building and operating Kubernetes-based platforms (EKS preferred) • Experience with IaC (Terraform) and GitOps ecosystems • Running workloads on AWS at scale • Experience with enterprise-grade systems or large organizations • CI/CD, automation, and DevOps best practices • Working in Agile/Scrum teams • Solid understanding of algorithms, distributed systems, and system design Programming & Automation • TypeScript (required) • Node.js & NestJS (service development & platform APIs) • Bash/Python (nice to have for automation) • React/Next.js (for internal dashboards) Cloud & Infrastructure • Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Amazon EKS / Kubernetes • Docker & container lifecycle • Helm charts and Kubernetes packaging • Terraform (IaC for AWS and platform modules) • Cloud-native architectural principles DevOps & Platform Engineering • GitOps workflows (ArgoCD) • CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy automation) • Environment provisioning and configuration automation • Developer Experience (DX) tooling • Platform reliability, monitoring & observability • Secret and configuration management (AWS Secrets Manager) Enterprise Integration • Distributed systems and microservices • REST APIs and integration patterns • Salesforce, Netcracker, Storyblok (nice to have) • Working with complex enterprise landscapes Networking & Security • Enterprise networking fundamentals • Zero-trust and least-privilege approaches • Secure coding and platform security best practices • Secrets & identity management This is your role Build, maintain, and improve core platform services that support delivery teams across the organization. Develop backend services and automation tooling in TypeScript/Node.js (NestJS). Design and implement GitOps-driven environment provisioning using CI/CD pipelines, ArgoCD, Helm, and Kubernetes. Operate and evolve our AWS- and EKS-based cloud platform using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Integrate platform capabilities with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Netcracker, Storyblok, and internal APIs. Implement secure-by-default patterns including secrets management, identity, networking, and compliance controls. Contribute to architectural decisions around distributed systems, cloud-native services, and container orchestration. Drive reliability through monitoring, observability, automation, and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with platform, cloud, SRE, and security teams within an Agile/Scrum environment.
