Role Overview: The Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure. The role plays a key part in driving cloud transformation initiatives and ensuring efficiency, security, and reliability across environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure following best practices for scalability, security, and reliability. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS). Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Ensure compliance and security across environments by managing IAM roles, VPCs, and network configurations. Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployments and optimize performance. Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement. Optimize cost, performance, and reliability across AWS infrastructure and services. Required Skills: Must-Have: AWS Cloud (5–7 years): EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, IAM, CloudFormation CI/CD (5 years): Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline Infrastructure as Code (4–6 years): Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible Containers (4–6 years): Docker, Kubernetes (EKS) Monitoring & Logging (3–5 years): CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack Linux Administration (6–8 years), scripting (Python/Bash) Networking & Security (5+ years): VPCs, IAM, VPNs, load balancing Good-to-Have: DevSecOps (2–4 years): security scanning, compliance, vulnerability management Leadership experience (3–5 years), Agile/Scrum environments Eligibility / Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification Work Type: Full-time
