We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support large-scale infrastructure and deployment processes at one of the Netherlands’ top-tier banks in Amsterdam. You will work on critical financial systems where security, reliability, and regulatory compliance are non-negotiable.

REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years of DevOps experience in enterprise environments

BANKING/FINANCIAL IT EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY

• Strong in RHEL (Red Hat Linux), Ansible, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, scripting
• Familiarity with container platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases is a plus
• Deep understanding of security controls, IT risk, and system hardening
• Fluent in English; clear communicator in multidisciplinary teams
• Agile/DevOps mindset with proactive attitude

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be part of a mature DevOps team responsible for building, maintaining, and automating secure IT environments for core banking applications. Your responsibilities span across CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure automation, system monitoring, and production support in a high-availability setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and improve deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins
• Automate infrastructure configuration with Ansible and scripting (Shell, Python)
• Monitor production systems using Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana
• Perform patching and security remediation in accordance with IT risk policies
• Contribute to the reliability, compliance, and performance of core banking platforms
• Collaborate closely with software developers, testers, and business stakeholders
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support production on-call rotations if needed
