Description

Your tasks:

  • As part of our team, you will be responsible for the architecture, implementation, and operation of our software development platform.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous optimization of the container-based development platform during operation
  • Support of existing software development platforms in various security domains
  • Close collaboration and support of the developers directly at the customer's site (Greater Bonn area)
  • Securing the development platform according to IT baseline protection and other requirements, as well as creating information security concepts.
  • Working in agile and virtual teams across multiple locations

Your profile:

  • Completed computer science degree or comparable qualification
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in the DevOps environment
  • Excellent knowledge of deployment automation with Ansible and the administration of Linux server systems.
  • Very good experience in deploying and operating containerized applications on Kubernetes
  • Experience in using the tools of the CI/CD toolchain (including GitLab, GitLab CI, SonarQube, Nexus, Harbor) as well as in creating and maintaining build pipelines.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages ​​(e.g., Python, Ruby) and command-line interpreters (e.g., Bash, PowerShell)
  • High motivation to achieve, a high degree of initiative and independent work
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips, especially for customer meetings in the greater Cologne/Bonn area.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, a sense of responsibility, diligence, and perseverance.
  • Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
