This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Ops in India. We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps engineer to join a dynamic CloudOps team and lead the development and evolution of cloud infrastructure platforms. In this role, you will design and maintain scalable, reliable, and automated cloud systems to empower engineering teams across a multi-cloud environment. You will apply your software engineering expertise to build robust platforms, streamline deployments, and optimize operational efficiency. Accountabilities: Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure platforms and automation pipelines. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and other automation tools. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows for software deployments. Participate in on-call rotations, incident management, and support for application releases/deployments. Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring scalable and reliable orchestration. Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for cloud systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality platform solutions. Continuously evaluate and improve cloud infrastructure performance, security, and reliability. 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on platform engineering and cloud operations. Strong programming skills in Python, along with proficiency in scripting languages. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation principles. Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes). Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, monitoring, logging, and observability tools. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Comfortable participating in on-call rotations and supporting deployments outside standard hours. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and iterative project delivery. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
