Description
Tech stack: Terraform / OpenTofu (Infrastructure as Code) Kubernetes (AKS and/or on‑prem) GitLab CI/CD (pipelines, runners) Linux (enterprise-grade distributions) Cloud platforms (Azure and/or other public clouds) Hybrid & on‑prem infrastructure Observability tools (logging, metrics, alerting – e.g. ELK stack) Configuration management (Ansible – nice to have) Networking & security tooling (DNS, load balancers, firewalls, certificates, secrets) Requirements: 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure roles Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / OpenTofu) Proven experience designing, building, and operating CI/CD pipelines Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills Practical experience with Kubernetes and container-based workloads Experience working in hybrid (cloud + on‑prem) and/or multi‑cloud environments Solid understanding of networking, security, identity, and observability concepts Experience in enterprise or regulated environments (change management, audits, compliance) Automation-first mindset with the ability to build, operate, and continuously improve platforms Ability to document solutions clearly and collaborate effectively in distributed teams Nice to have: Advanced experience with GitLab CI/CD, including runner architecture and scaling Hands-on Kubernetes platform implementation (AKS and/or on‑prem clusters) Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible) Familiarity with observability platforms (e.g. ELK stack, APM tools) Experience with secrets management, identity federation (SSO), or Active Directory integration Exposure to infrastructure or network automation (DNS, load balancers, firewalls via IaC or APIs) Experience containerizing applications (e.g. .NET workloads) Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow Project description: You will join a cross-functional platform team responsible for building a cloud-agnostic platform that enables workload portability across public cloud providers and on‑premises environments. The platform is designed and operated using a shared responsibility model, where engineers collaborate across multiple domains instead of owning a single area end-to-end. The role is intentionally broad, offering exposure to CI/CD, Kubernetes, infrastructure, security, and observability, with opportunities to specialize based on individual strengths and project needs. Main responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code across cloud and on‑prem environments Build, operate, and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting platform and infrastructure delivery Contribute to Kubernetes-based container platform enablement, workload deployment, and lifecycle automation Support Linux-based systems, including automation, patching, and hardening Integrate infrastructure and services with observability and monitoring platforms Contribute to security and identity automation (secrets, certificates, access models) Collaborate with other DevOps engineers in a shared ownership model to deliver cohesive platform capabilities Document solutions and actively support knowledge transfer to internal teams
Responsibilities
Design and maintain a cloud-agnostic platform using Infrastructure as Code across public cloud and on-premises environments. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines while supporting Kubernetes-based container platforms and Linux system hardening.
