Description - External Job Description: Schneider Digital DEVS working closely with the Energy Management & Industrial Automation is building the next generation of a fully integrated Platform as a Service (PaaS) for IoT on the Edge and on the Cloud. This platform capitalizes on all digital capabilities to accelerate EcoStruxure roadmaps across the company. An integral part of this Platform is EcoStruxure Exchange. EcoStruxure Exchange is responsible for opening up EcoStruxure to the external world through a Developer Portal exposing Open APIs / SDKs / Datasets and Analytics, a Developer Community that can collaborate and innovate, and a Digital Marketplace that can help monetize developer tools, apps and partner offers. The EcoStruxure Exchange Engineering organization is looking for passionate, experienced, and skilled Software DevOps engineers to help us build, operate and scale Exchange with new content & features as well as targeting a larger set of users and partners around the world. Responsibilities & duties: As a DevOps Engineer you will be part of an agile team implementing application solutions in the cloud and participating in technical research and development to enable continuous innovation in the DevOps space. You will be be responsible for: Implementing scalable, resilient, and secure solutions in the public cloud, especially in AWS Participating in automation initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and reduce hosting cost Work closely with Product Owner, Platform Team, Solution Architects and development teams for continuous improvements Enhance and drive automation and "Infrastructure as Code" delivery Deliver cloud projects in an Agile environment Participating in technical discussions with existing & potential clients and internal teams, Participating in research and development to deliver complex cloud-native solutions or on-premises Analyzing and troubleshooting complex software and infrastructure issues, and develop tools/systems for task automation Support as needed for critical and escalated issue Responsible for managing and upgrading DevOps toolsets. Maintaining 100%25 automation coverage of core Insight build and deploy using cloud-native services and containers A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design & development with high levels of quality & reliability is essential. Essentials: At least 3 to 5 years’ experience on AWS DevOps Solid experience in designing and implementing complex DevOps solutions Experience within cloud hosted environments such as Amazon AWS, AWS Lambda and AWS CloudFormation Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills Desirable: Tool experience: Git, Azure DevOps Software programming / development experience in .NET or Java Experience in agile project Personal qualities & behavioral traits Problem-solver at heart – resourceful, aptitude to quickly troubleshoot Resourceful & proactive: take initiative & act Willingness & ability to learn new technologies Ability to challenge and question based on reasoned argument Clear and precise communication in English – written and verbal Education: Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
