We at EOS, part of the Otto Group, are looking for a motivated and experienced person to join our IT Infrastructure department as a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d). In this role, you will be responsible for improving the centralized AWS cloud platform in your team and support the various teams from across the EOS Group in migrating their existing services and infrastructure to the AWS cloud.

This is the job

• You automate the infrastructure and manage “Infrastructure as Code” in an AWS environment.
• As a consultant for AWS infrastructure services, you will gather requirements from various teams and develop customized solutions.
• You will develop, maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and error-free software delivery.
• You promote the continuous improvement of code quality in the team through regular code reviews and targeted knowledge sharing.
• You will implement and manage effective monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the performance and reliability of our systems.
• As a DevOps expert, you will lead your own projects and support team members in solving complex technical challenges.

This is what you bring to the table

• You have 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructures on the AWS platform.
• Ideally, you have already participated in or led large cloud migration projects.
• Your in-depth knowledge of Terraform or Ansible makes you an expert in infrastructure automation and IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
• You have extensive experience with CI/CD automation using GitLab, as well as containerization and Kubernetes.
• You have development experience with Bash, Python or PowerShell.
• Fluency in English rounds off your profile and facilitates cooperation with our 24 European subsidiaries.
