QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position. Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and micro services.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK stack, or Splunk.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    Target Base Salary Range: $72,700 - $145,400.
    Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools to deliver reliable cloud-based applications.
  • Implement containerization using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to track system health, performance, and the availability of infrastructure and applications.
  • Ensure high availability of all cloud components and services and implement scaling solutions vertically and horizontally as needed.
  • Develop, maintain, and test incident response plans and disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and internal penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the development, testing, and release processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
