Job Description
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps frameworks and practices. This role involves leading initiatives, mentoring team members, and driving the implementation of advanced DevOps solutions to optimize infrastructure, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and enhance system performance.
You will be responsible for building scalable, automated, and secure solutions, integrating tools and technologies to support business objectives. This role requires continuous learning to stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and evolving DevOps methodologies.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team. The role will primarily be remote, with access to offices around the globe if desired. Regular travel may be required for customer meetings or internal training.
Candidates will be required to travel to Livingston if they are successful in securing a stage two interview.

Role Overview

• Develop and optimize DevOps solutions to improve system performance, operational efficiency, and scalability across multiple environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable delivery of software and infrastructure changes.
• Build scalable containerized infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, security, and observability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, driving consistent and repeatable deployments across environments.
• Enhance system monitoring and logging by implementing effective solutions to proactively detect and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with software and infrastructure teams to integrate DevOps practices, providing guidance on best practices and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Maintain and monitor server resources and traffic, implementing automated scripts for routine maintenance, scaling infrastructure as needed, and optimizing system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to system architecture design, focusing on distributed systems, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide thought leadership in DevOps practices, tools, and strategies.
