This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in Latin America. In this role, you will play a key part in scaling and automating cloud infrastructure to support high-performance, reliable systems. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to deploy resilient architectures using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles. Your contributions will directly impact the scalability, security, and efficiency of enterprise-grade systems serving millions of users globally. The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic design, technical leadership, and process improvements. You will influence best practices, review architectures, and mentor teams while working in a fully remote, collaborative, and flexible environment. Accountabilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud architectures and system integrations. Improve scalability, performance, and reliability of client platforms through technical and process enhancements. Coordinate complex technology roadmaps in partnership with product and development teams. Collaborate with client service teams to design, build, and maintain systems that scale globally across multiple cloud platforms. Establish and promote effective engineering practices, including code reviews, architecture assessments, and test automation. Monitor system performance, implement optimizations, and resolve production issues. Mentor team members and contribute to building a strong DevOps culture. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Linux containerization tools. 3+ years of experience in Python development and Python-based web applications. Proven experience leading projects and designing complex technical architectures. Hands-on experience operating production services on cloud infrastructure. Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) to communicate effectively with international clients. Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration, and a proactive, organized work approach.
