PROFILE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our small and focused engineering team to build the next generation of web scraping tools together. We’re building a world where data collection is a breeze and where publicly available data is at anyone’s doorstep - should you be a marketplace looking for competitor information or an SEO agency collecting search engine data for your customers. The role offers challenges that will keep your brain busy, a chance to work on a large scale product that customers can rely on, a modern tech stack and a great team where people learn from each other.

• Infrastructure Building and Optimization: Enhance the scalability and fault tolerance of our large-scale infrastructure that gets 1 billion+ requests a week, by implementing monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Migration Project: Lead the transition of services from DigitalOcean to Hetzner, ensuring minimal disruption, while keeping everything secure.
• Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and redundancy strategies.
• Security Enhancement: Strengthen security measures to protect against continuous threats and attacks.
• Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities without compromising performance or security.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, with potential involvement in AI projects.
