We are based in central Auckland and we’re on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in building, scaling, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS. You’ll leverage your deep expertise in containerisation, automation, and security to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our applications and platforms. • Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure on AWS, with a strong emphasis on Amazon ECS.
• Develop and maintain our CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools to automate software delivery.
• Implement and manage robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud environment, with specific experience in configuring and managing AWS WAF and CloudFront security policies.
• Manage and optimize our containerisation strategy using Docker and orchestrating with ECS.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and DevOps trends, and recommend innovative solutions.
