About the role... We are currently seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad. What you will do... Design, build, and operate secure, reliable CI/CD pipelines and release workflows for containerized workloads; Implement and run GitOps-based delivery using Argo CD and Helm, drive standardization across environments; Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible, following IaC best practices; Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve platform and application issues using an observability stack and resolve issues when needed; Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure high availability, scalability, security, and cost-efficient environments; Document systems and runbooks, mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices; Communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating problems into actionable plans; Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements that increase delivery speed, reliability, and security. Technical Skills required... Bachelor’s degree in a CS/IS/IT/System Administration related field or equivalent experience; 5+ years of experience in a DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering role, with strong Linux/Unix administration skills; Strong experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio); Hands-on knowledge of Helm and GitOps practices (ArgoCD); Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps and embed DevSecOps practices; Working experience with observability stack (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo); Experience deploying and operating platform components such as Kafka, Elasticsearch/ELK, Databases; Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash plus Python or Go); Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken. Experience in the following technologies will be considered an asset: Experience in working with Operators; Experience in designing and supporting cloud environments; Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP; Troubleshooting and debugging application related network issues; Relevant certifications (Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud) are considered a plus; Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always available service.
