Description

VoCoVo specialises in innovative communication solutions tailored for businesses, particularly within the retail sector. We’re seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to work within an infrastructure/platform team who are responsible for the ongoing stability, scalability, quality and maintainability of our systems. You will have a mindset focused upon continually improving our DevOps infrastructure to grow alongside company growth, whilst also ensuring our tooling gives developers everything they need to deliver great solutions.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you’ll strive towards helping engineering teams instrument, measure and observe the software and systems they deploy, acting as a subject matter expert on all things cloud-based.
Please note, to apply for this position you must be based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Test, build, design, deploy and monitor our continuous integration and continuous delivery processes using modern DevOps tooling.
  • Assist in managing relationships between your team and other software engineering teams, ensuring a collaborative approach.
  • Develop robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership on both unchartered problems and legacy software.
  • Research new solutions and drive conversations focused on improvements and new approaches to complex problems.
  • Ensure teams are supported and tutored in how our own software and tooling can be used best to execute faster and more consistently.
  • Have a strong bias for action, owning your domain and taking responsibility for everything you see deserving of change.
  • Act as a mentor to less experienced developers and colleagues.
  • Peer review of your colleagues work.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and bring an approach of willingness and flexibility to always “pitch in” on a problem.
