Description
About the Job Are you passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices? Join the RAMP squad at Allianz Technology — a small, experienced, and supportive team that drives automation across the entire Workplace Services (WPS) organization. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll work hands-on with modern tools like Azure, Kubernetes, GitHub, and ArgoCD, designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure-as-code, and collaborating with teams across Allianz to deliver real impact. This is a great opportunity to grow your technical skills while working on diverse automation projects in a global environment. What you do Design, build, and manage scalable Azure infrastructure, with a focus on Kubernetes (AKS). Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Automate and optimize deployment processes across multiple teams using infrastructure-as-code tools. Administer and improve key DevOps platforms like Digital.AI Release, GitHub Enterprise, and Power Platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end automation solutions — from requirements to rollout. Continuously improve system performance, security, and reliability while supporting onboarding of new tools. What you bring 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering, with strong hands-on expertise. Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration. Solid experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., ArgoCD). Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in complex environments. Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams. Curiosity, adaptability, and a drive to learn and implement new tools and technologies. What we offer We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.
