Benefits: Competitive salary Opportunity for advancement Training & development Role: Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer Location: New York, NY (Onsite) We are seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to support the development and delivery of scalable, reliable backend services powering online platforms. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure and application engineering, focused on automation, cloud-native delivery, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend services and supporting systems. Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using modern DevOps practices and tooling. Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and deployment speed through continuous optimization. Monitor platform health and proactively identify and remediate issues before they impact availability. Partner with software engineering teams to enhance developer workflows, release processes, and environment consistency. Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to strengthen observability. Support cloud-native architectures and operational workloads in AWS. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles. Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration best practices. Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash. Experience with AWS services and cloud operations in production environments. Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures.
