WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Toyota Financial Services’ Enterprise Tools team is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Senior DevOps Software Engineer to join us in building world-class platform engineering solutions. In this role, you will drive the development and enhancement of our CI/CD pipelines and container platforms, empowering our development teams to deliver innovative financial services efficiently and reliably. Reporting to the Enterprise Tools Manager, you will play a key role in advancing our technology strategy to create seamless, automated, and scalable infrastructure that supports our business goals.

  • Own and execute technology initiatives focused on CI/CD pipelines and container platforms, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance the employee and developer experience.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices, continuously improving our technology stack.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of self-service automation tools that reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.
  • Provide expert guidance on automation best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive innovation by integrating container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and AWS Fargate into our CI/CD workflows.
  • Partner with software engineers and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable cloud-native platforms.

Your background and skills will set you up for success in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience providing a strong foundation in software engineering or related fields.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native platforms and services, preferably on AWS.
  • Mastery of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Proven ability to automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes to boost efficiency.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Java, Bash, or Groovy to customize and automate CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience integrating containerization into CI/CD pipelines, including Docker image management and orchestration with Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or AWS Fargate.
  • Solid understanding of test-driven development (TDD) principles applied to automation.
  • Proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, and EKS.
  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and AWS CodeDeploy
