We are now looking for several
Senior / DevOps Specialists for KONE Shared Services. We are globally responsible for supporting testing and development activities.
This position is located in Hyvinkää, Finland. There’s possibility to work remotely couple of days a week.
In this role as a Senior / DevOps Specialist you will be part of dynamic team of experts and work closely with other testing and development teams. You will have an opportunity to grow with the team and give your expertise to support the team achievements. KONE will offer you a challenging position in a highly innovative global environment.

Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Puppet)
  • Manage and support development and testing infrastructure (servers, repositories, automation tools)
  • Develop and maintain Python libraries and utilities to support test automation teams (e.g. protocol stack libraries)
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability
  • Collaborate with test teams and developers to enhance workflows and automation capabilities
  • Maintain documentation and best practices for infrastructure and tooling

IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE FOLLOWING SKILLS NEEDED

  • DevOps & CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools
  • Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python and Robot framework for automation and tool development
  • Infrastructure Management: Familiarity with Linux servers, shell scripting, and system administration
  • Version Control & Repo Management: Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab, or GitHub
  • Containerization & Virtualization (optional but beneficial): Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or virtual machines
  • Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with tools like Grafana or similar
  • Problem-Solving & Communication: Ability to support multiple teams, debug issues, and improve workflows
  • Good communication skills in English
  • An ability to work independently and as a member of a team
