This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the creation and maintenance of secure, automated cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with developers and product teams to implement DevSecOps practices that ensure reliability and compliance. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the efficiency and security of enterprise data platforms, enhancing the lives of users in the federal space. Join a team that values learning, growth, and innovation in software delivery. \n Accountabilities Design and maintain AWS cloud environments, including GovCloud-regulated environments using Infrastructure as Code. Build and manage Terraform templates for provisioning and configuration. Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI). Containerize and deploy applications with Docker; operate Kubernetes environments. Integrate automated security scanning and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines. Support government prototype development with rapid, secure iterations. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for reliability and performance. Automate vulnerability patching, security reporting, and compliance checks. Requirements 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering. Strong expertise in AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch). Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Hands-on with Docker and container deployments. Solid background in Linux administration and scripting (Python, Bash).
