The Why (Role Purpose): At Entain, the customer is at the heart of everything we do — and the Product Insights & Analytics team ensures that every product and marketing decision is grounded in meaningful, high-quality data. The Digital Analytics Specialist plays a key role in connecting business goals to measurable outcomes by designing, implementing, and maintaining tracking that reveals how customers engage with our products. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Technology teams to translate KPIs and customer questions into clear tracking requirements, collaborate with developers to implement and QA data collection, and build dashboards in Amplitude that help teams make confident, data-informed decisions. Beyond Amplitude, you’ll also contribute to the broader analytics ecosystem — working across GA4/, Firebase, and BigQuery & Snowflake; managing data pipelines; and ensuring consistent, privacy-conscious data collection across our digital platforms. Your work will directly shape how we understand customer behaviour, evaluate new features, and continuously improve the Entain experience. The What and How: To meet our customer and business needs, the key responsibilities of this role include: (Please note this is an overview — other responsibilities may be required to fulfil the purpose of the role.) Product & Design Enablement Partner with Product Managers and Designers to translate KPIs, hypotheses, and customer questions into clear, measurable tracking requirements. Design and document event structures and data schemas that align with business objectives and support cross-platform consistency. Work with developers to implement and QA event tracking across web and native app platforms. Build, maintain, and evolve Amplitude dashboards that map directly to product and design KPIs. Support experimentation and feature rollout through Amplitude feature flags and experiments Analytics Infrastructure & Data Quality Assist in developing and maintaining GA4, Firebase, BigQuery, and Amplitude architecture. Design, automate, and manage SQL scripts to enable comprehensive digital analytics and marketing reporting. Audit and implement data flows and tagging across GA4, and Google Tag Manager, using HTML/HTML5/CSS/JavaScript where necessary. Support and maintain custom audience data transfers for platforms such as Meta. Create and manage ETL processes that centralise data for analysis and reporting. Ensure data quality, logical consistency, and documentation across all tracking implementations. Reporting & Insight Delivery Build meaningful dashboards and visualisations that connect behavioural data to business and customer outcomes. Report construction and maintenance using BigQuery, Snowflake, and Amplitude. Provide feedback to cross-functional teams on data trends, opportunities, and optimisation points. Contribute to company data governance and act as a subject matter expert on digital analytics tools, tracking best practices, and emerging privacy regulations. Your Skills and Experience: To help you get into the game and be set up for success in this role, you will come with broad skills and experience covering: 3+ years’ experience in technical data roles preferred. Familiarity working with Tag Management software (e.g. Adobe DTM, Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, Tealium) and data layers. Experience in SQL for data extraction and data analysis. Experience in using Amplitude, BigQuery and GA360/GA4 data for reporting and insights. Familiarity with web programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Familiarity implementing 3rd party media tags such as DoubleClick, Adwords, Facebook, App Nexus or similar platforms. Experience in building insights dashboards and visualisations using Amplitude, Tableau or Data Studio. Competent Excel skills and ability to use formulas to present data clearly and concisely.
