QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional graphic design experience.

  • Deep understanding of email design principles: mobile responsiveness, accessibility, clear CTAs, image optimization, and branding consistency.
  • Expertise in using email marketing platforms such as AIQ, Klaviyo, and/or Constant Contact for designing, building, and automating campaigns.
  • Experience designing in AIQ is highly encouraged.
  • Experience in the cannabis industry is a notable plus.
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply brand guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Designer with a strong background in email/SMS marketing and eCommerce. The ideal candidate will design all visual creatives independently and then execute email and SMS campaigns using CRM platforms like AIQ and Constant Contact. Experience in the cannabis industry is a valuable bonus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Digital Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute creative concepts for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Visual Asset Design: Design compelling visual assets—banners, icons, layouts, and GIFs—for websites, social media, email, text messaging, and online ads.
  • Email & SMS Campaign Execution: Build, design, and automate email and text (SMS) marketing campaigns using tools like AIQ and Constant Contact.
  • Email Design Best Practices: Ensure best practices in email design: mobile responsiveness, accessibility, clear CTAs, optimized images, and consistent branding.
  • Brand Guidelines Application: Apply brand guidelines accurately to create polished and cohesive email templates and campaigns.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining top-quality output.
  • Industry Trends Awareness: Stay current on industry trends and email/SMS campaign best practices.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing for email/SMS campaigns. Design experiments, interpret results, and make data-driven improvements.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign performance data and use insights to optimize strategy and campaign effectiveness.
  • Basic Video Editing Skills: Ability to edit short-form videos for campaigns, event recaps, and social channels using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or Canva Video.
