Description

Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto is seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Senior Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to lead our direct marketing efforts and elevate how we engage donors, families, and supporters across digital platforms. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing integrated fundraising campaigns (digital and print), donor communications, and content strategies that drive revenue, retention, and brand growth.
We’re looking for a storyteller who understands that great marketing is rooted in meaningful content — and knows how to shape a message, choose the right channel, and time it for maximum impact. You’ll own the end-to-end direct marketing process — from data pulls to deployment — while also contributing to broader digital initiatives such as email marketing, web content, advertising, donor stewardship, and events.
If you’re a results-driven marketer who thrives in a mission-driven, collaborative environment and brings a sharp eye for narrative, strategy, and detail, we want to hear from you.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in a nonprofit or direct-response fundraising environment.
  • Proven success in developing and managing direct marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Deep knowledge of digital platforms, advertising tools (Google Ads, Meta), and CRM systems (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge preferred).
  • Experience with email marketing (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact), CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and analytics (e.g., GA4).
  • Strong content development and storytelling skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Graphic design ability using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Strategic thinker with an analytics and data-informed mindset.
  • Creative problem solver with strong project management skills.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively across departments and with vendors.
  • Passionate about making a meaningful difference for families and children.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • An opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children, families, and the community.
  • Competitive total rewards package includes:
  • A Salary range of $75,000-$85,000
  • 3 Week’s vacation
  • 10 wellness days + religious days
  • Group health and dental benefits, coverage for mental health, paramedical services and more.
  • Professional Development fund for further education and learning.
  • A vibrant downtown location with flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.
  • Onsite gym.
  • A mission-driven organizational culture.
If you’re looking to make a difference every day in the lives of children and families, submit your application today!
