Description

Arup’s purpose, shared values, and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 75 years, guiding how we shape a better world.
We are seeking a Senior Digital Rail Consultant to join our team. The Senior Digital Rail Consultant is an Associate level leadership position that will sit in our New York, Boston, Chicago or DC office! They will work closely with the regional Digital Rail Leader, the regional Digital Services Leader and the regional Rail Business Leader to expand the impact of our digital services business in the Eastern and Southern US rail market. Given the seniority of this role, they may be engaged on projects in other geographies such as Canada, where there is currently a market demand for digital advisory work with Arup’s rail clients.
Specifically, this role will act as a client-facing digital integrator, being responsible for the digital strategy and for the implementation of the digital roadmap on rail projects across Arup’s digital capabilities. This role will additionally help to further expand our local digital service offering in the key areas of GIS/BIM integration, digital twin, AI, and digital strategy advisory and will support local client relationship development and further bolster our local digital presence. As this role will require general Digital Consulting skills, it will also respond to opportunities outside of the rail sector as they present themselves, with the primary focus remaining on rail.
The Senior Digital Rail Consultant will bring client contacts, a depth of digital knowledge and experience from the industry, links to the institutions and key bodies for this industry as well as a track record in business development and client relationship management! A key part of this role will be to secure new and repeat work for the business.
