JOIN THE NSW DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AS A SENIOR DIGITAL WEBSITE OFFICER (CLERK GRADE 9/10)

We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Digital Website Officer within our Curriculum directorate.

  • Location: Parramatta, with some access to various NSW Education offices and flexible working arrangements available
  • Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10 with base salary ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 per annum, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
  • Temporary full-time opportunity up to four (4) years, with possibility for extension or conversion to ongoing

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of editing, structuring and publishing high quality web content
  • Knowledge and proven ability to implement WCAG 2.1 accessibility requirements
  • Knowledge and proven ability to use content management systems
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one)
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Digital Website Officer leads the planning, development and delivery of high-quality, accessible web content that supports the department’s curriculum priorities. The role provides expert advice on online content delivery, accessibility and digital publishing, while managing a small team and working closely with stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, inclusive and aligned with departmental objectives.
