Datadog is seeking a Senior Director for the APJ Marketing team to be based in Singapore or Sydney. This role reports to the Vice President of Digital Operations & Field Marketing. As the Senior Director of Marketing for APJ, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our regional marketing strategy. Your leadership will drive the expansion of Datadog's presence in the dynamic and rapidly evolving Asian market. What You’ll Do: Be the center of excellence for a team of geographically dispersed Field Marketing Managers to ensure the team receives the professional development, skill based training, and enablement of the GTM plan to be a best-in-class organization. Gain a comprehensive understanding of Datadog's product, market position, personas, competition, and market trends for adapting and optimizing the global marketing plan in the APJ market. Sales, operations, and adjacent marketing teams will be your key allies. You will partner closely with regional sales leadership to curate the region’s field plans on a quarterly basis. Set clear OKRs utilizing KPIs to meet goals. Data analysis, forecasting, workflows, and enablement plans are your go-to tools. Regularly present metrics in QSRs, Global Field MKT QBRs, regional all hands, and leadership meetings. Oversee end-to-end program management. You and your team will utilize the US-based marketing team and in region agencies and partners to create demand and generate leads across various channels. Optimize the field channel mix to respond to changes in the market. Evaluate program success for future planning and effective budget management. Act as the main point of contact and enablement for the APJ sales team, ensuring effective communication of marketing plans, goals, metrics, and results. Proactively collaborate with various marketing teams to plan and execute larger portions of owned (DASH, Datadog Summit, and Datadog Live) and sponsored partner events (i.e. Reinvent & AWS). Partner with Datadog’s experienced recruitment and HR team to recruit, hire and onboard new team members. Who You Are: A leader who consistently applies a growth mindset to execute a multi-touch, multi-channel go-to-market strategy, surpassing both goals and industry standards. In depth experience working across all APJ markets including Japan, Korea, ASEAN, India and ANZ. Team-oriented approach ensures seamless alignment across the organization. Thrive on data and engage with systems to collect, analyze and share data relative to your programs for pipeline planning. 15+ years of relevant field and marketing experience in B2B SaaS marketing to the enterprise. Outstanding organizational skills, ability to follow through, and capable of meeting deadlines while balancing multiple projects and priorities Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills Experience with CRM (Salesforce), Google Suite, project management and sales enablement workflows.
