The Senior Director, Clinical Strategy & Transformation is responsible for leading system-level clinical innovation, transformational initiatives, and strategic quality advancement across Long-Term Care and Retirement divisions. This role will drive the design, implementation, and scaling of projects that improve clinical services, enhance operational effectiveness, and strengthen the resident experience. Working in collaboration with operational leaders and support partners, the Senior Director will champion a culture of quality improvement, system integration, regulatory excellence and person-centered care, while contributing to the development of future organizational leadership capacity.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of transformational initiatives that improve clinical and wellness services across Long-Term Care and Retirement divisions.
  • Design future-ready care and service models aligned with resident needs, operational excellence, and sector best practices.
  • Oversee cross-functional clinical and operational projects from conception through implementation.
  • Ensure project alignment with strategic priorities, regulatory compliance, and sustainability goals.
  • Support clinical integration and transformation planning related to portfolio growth, including acquisitions, redevelopments, and repositioning.
  • Apply structured change management methodologies to support effective adoption of new programs, technologies, and practices across stakeholder groups.
  • Build internal capacity for innovation and change at site and organizational levels.
  • Collaborate with operational and clinical leaders to embed continuous quality improvement principles into core practice.
  • Support system integration across business units, harmonizing clinical programs, assessments, and operational procedures.
  • Utilize data, resident outcomes, and operational metrics to inform project priorities, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Report on project outcomes and transformation metrics to executive leadership.
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including site leaders, residents and families, sector partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure that initiatives are designed with stakeholder input and focused on enhancing the resident experience.
