Job Overview: The Senior Director - Commercial (MAS123) at Qiddiya Investment Company is a pivotal leadership role responsible for directing and managing the commercial strategy, contract management, and operational commercial activities across the organization’s diverse portfolio. This role requires an expert commercial professional who can ensure that commercial objectives are met while supporting the company’s vision to develop a world-class entertainment, sports, and cultural destination. As Senior Director - Commercial, you will lead negotiations, develop commercial frameworks, and foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Your strategic insight will drive value creation, risk mitigation, and commercial excellence to support the company’s ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and projects. Lead contracting processes including negotiation, drafting, and finalizing complex agreements with vendors, partners, and service providers. Oversee contract administration ensuring compliance, performance tracking, and risk mitigation throughout the contract lifecycle. Collaborate closely with legal, finance, and project teams to deliver seamless commercial operations. Manage and mentor the commercial team to achieve high performance and professional development. Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats, providing strategic recommendations. Prepare and present regular reports and insights to executive leadership and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to corporate governance, procurement policies, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Finance, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in commercial management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing, preferably within large-scale infrastructure, entertainment, or investment sectors. Proven track record of leading complex commercial negotiations and managing high-value contracts. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing diverse teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Sound knowledge of procurement processes, commercial frameworks, and compliance standards.
