POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sr. Director of Contract Analytics at Tonix Pharmaceuticals will be responsible for the development and execution of payer contracts and analytics to ensure inline product and pipeline product success. In partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, this position will manage strategic payer contracts and analyze data to drive market access and company objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
  • 10+ years of biotech/pharma experience, payer understanding and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience creating contracting processes and policies, innovative contracting strategies, market access channel net pricing policies, market access analytics (e.g. Gross to Net, rebates, co-pay cards etc.), and customer profitability for all channels.
  • 5+ years of experience with market access including contracting and negotiations.
  • Ability to travel overnight 25% (travel consists of working with NADs, attending business meetings, industry meetings, and working with key customers).
  • Strong professional presence when working with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong business and financial acumen – prior experience in Contracting with an emphasis on data and financial analysis would be optimal.
  • A willingness to listen, succinctly debate and evaluate issues with an open mind to different opinions and approaches to contract issues.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences from senior executives to National Account Directors (NADs) in the field.
  • Strong sense of accountability; passion for owning projects and driving them to completion.
Responsibilities
  • Execution of pricing and contracting strategies, including pre and post deal analysis, gaining approval, and proposing corrective actions as market dynamics change.
  • Contract analytics and deal development as risks and opportunities present themselves within accounts.
  • Analyze contracting proposal recommendations assessing the potential return on investment, downsides of not contracting and elements of risk of moving forward.
  • Review contract language, propose contract language changes and be able to articulate the rationale for language changes.
  • Partnering with the Market Access National Account Directors (NADs) teams to execute strategies, manage contracts and address account specific contracting opportunities and collaborate to explore expanded market opportunities.
  • Work closely with the NADs to monitor market, product and account conditions as well as changes in laws and regulations and educate internal and external personnel on the implications of any such changes.
  • Collaborating with Finance, Legal, Contract Operations, Government Pricing, Compliance, and other departments for consistent business rules focused on appropriate reporting and compliance with all laws and regulations.
  • Supporting strategic projects across all payer segments
  • Assist in the development and execution of overall strategies pertaining to pricing strategies of products, contracting strategies with customers managing these strategies to assure continued focus on achieving corporate goals while monitoring the potential impacts of strategies on government pricing and GTN.
  • Manage bid processes as it relates to financial modeling, contract language evolution, etc.
  • Establishing key performance indicators, building performance dashboards, analyzing performance and recommending corrective actions related to contracting
