The go-to-market region Northern & Central Europe (NCE) Service Sales Onshore team is a key contributor to this vision, managing key customer relationships across the Vestas Service Commercial landscape in the important markets of United Kingdom, Benelux, Ireland, Nordics, Baltics, Poland, Germany and Austria.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree, for instance with focus on business or engineering
  • Several years of highly relevant experience in account management and sales, for example in a services/aftersales business, OEM sales or other long term service business
  • Experience in leading and coaching managers from working in sales or commercial functions
  • A go-to attitude with an sharp eye for qualifying risks and opportunities
  • Professional English and German skills, both verbally and in writing
  • The ability and willingness to travel (30-40%)
Responsibilities

We are looking for an inspiring Senior Director to lead the Service Sales Onshore team, charged with overseeing our strategic commercial approach and guiding day-to-day sales functions across Europe. You will report directly to the Vice President, Service Commercial and lead the service sales team that is responsible for bringing profitable growth with a focus on Vestas’ Service Commercial strategy in close alignment with the Service Operations team, as well as defining sales strategies and capture plans together with colleagues in turbine sales towards new and long term customers and key accounts in the core of Europe. Your tasks will include:

  • Guiding a motivated and diverse team of ever-growing Service Sales Directors and Service Sales Managers across the region
  • Working closely with your peers from other regions, as well as key stakeholders in wind turbine sales, service operations, regional management, legal and engineering
  • Developing growth and professionalization of the onshore service salesfunction within the region, supporting relationship building with key customers across region NCE and gloablly
  • Propelling the sale of long-term service contracts, upgrade and aftermarket products, large frame agreements and other offerings
  • Develop a significant understanding of your market to identify untapped new demand and work with other NCE and global functions to develop suitable offerings
  • Support your team’s development and performance through a structured approach and high-quality understanding of Vestas’ process landscape, with a mindset to further improve what is in place today
