Senior Director, Engineering Operations Americas
This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA
This is your chance to be part of our Hotel Operations team that oversees the daily functions of our Americas managed hotel portfolio! As the Senior Director, Engineering Operations Americas, you will support the team in ensuring our guests receive a world-class hospitality experience and that we remain a leader in our industry.

SUCCESS WILL DEMONSTRATE ITSELF THROUGH THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS:

• Advanced certifications in facilities management, sustainability, or engineering disciplines.

IT WOULD BE USEFUL IN THIS POSITION FOR YOU TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING CAPABILITIES AND DISTINCTIONS:

• Experience managing engineering operations for properties of 1,000+ rooms
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or advanced certifications in facilities management, sustainability, or engineering disciplines.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL ALSO INCLUDE:

• Provide strategic engineering leadership and operational oversight across Hilton’s managed hotel portfolio in the Americas, ensuring facility performance and compliance.
• Lead the development of engineering standards, sustainability initiatives, and capital planning strategies to enhance asset value and guest experience.
• Conduct comprehensive property inspections to ensure they are meeting standards; provide performance reviews delivering actionable insights and improvement across all engineering operations.

TO FULFILL THIS ROLE SUCCESSFULLY, YOU MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ten (10) years of progressive engineering leadership experience in hospitality or related industries.
• Five (5) years of experience managing engineering operations for large-scale properties and providing regional, multi-unit oversight and support.
• At least 5 years of experience leading teams.
• Willing to travel up to 50% across the Americas region.
