The Senior Director of HSE Global Manufacturing provides leadership, direction, and oversight of the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management system for Lilly Manufacturing to promote the outcomes of injury prevention, risk reduction, and sustainable use of environmental resources. Role responsibilities include continuous improvement of compliance and risk management systems, monitoring HSE performance, facilitating effective governance, and creating linkages within the function. Additional position requirements include managing the Global HSE Manufacturing staff, development of the annual business plan, and leadership of technical and governance teams.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science
• 10+ years leadership experience developing and managing HSE teams and programs
• 10+ years experience in manufacturing (HSE, engineering, or operations-related)
• Experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Experience interfacing with regulatory agencies on health, safety, and environmental matters
