We are seeking a visionary Senior Director of APAC Sales for our Hi-Tech Industry Vertical. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Sales, Asia Pacific, this is —a pivotal leadership role that will define how we accelerate growth and deepen relationships with some of the most innovative technology companies in the world. Responsibilities Sales Leadership Own the Market Strategy for the Hi-Tech segment – Design and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans, territory strategies, and account roadmaps plans to identify and capture new opportunities and expand market and wallet share. Deliver Predictable Growth – Drive disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, and quota attainment to achieve and exceed ambitious revenue targets. Champion Solution Selling – Elevate the team’s ability to translate Equinix’s holistic vision into compelling value propositions that solve complex business challenges. Lead & Inspire – Coach, mentor, and develop top talent, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Customer & Opportunity Management Serve as the sales lead for APAC Hi-Tech opportunities, partnering with country, regional, and global teams to secure and close deals. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers and partners to drive long-term engagement and adoption of Equinix solutions. Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating deep expertise and aligning solutions with customer needs. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Regional Sales teams to ensure seamless go-to-market execution. Work with executive leadership to provide insights on market trends, customer needs, and portfolio evolution. Performance & Growth Set and manage performance metrics, tracking the success of sales initiatives. Identify and implement continuous improvements in sales processes and strategies to enhance effectiveness. Build and develop talent within the APAC Sales organization to create a high-performance culture. What We’re Looking For Proven success in senior global or regional sales leadership roles, ideally within technology or data center environments. Expertise in managing complex, multi-regional opportunities and driving solution-based selling. Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute impactful sales strategies. Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills within a matrixed organization. Deep understanding of technology ecosystems, data center services, and advanced solution selling practices.
