This position will drive the definition and enterprise embedding of the LEGO Group’s Leadership Philosophy, partnering closely with the VP, Global People & Leadership Development to establish clear leadership expectations, aligned development pathways, and measurable leadership impact globally. Please note: This is a Senior Director role, located in either Billund or Copenhagen, Denmark. Core Responsibilities Partner closely with the VP, Global People & Leadership Development to define and embed a distinctive LEGO Leadership Philosophy, translating strategic ambition and cultural values into enterprise-wide behavioural expectations. Design and govern an end-to-end enterprise leadership development architecture, spanning emerging leaders through executive level. Integrate and elevate executive development, including internal programmes and external partnerships (e.g., IMD), ensuring coherence, rigour, and strategic alignment. Create aligned leadership pathways by level, clarifying expectations, capability standards, and progression criteria. Own and evolve the Upward Feedback Survey (UFS), ensuring robust design, governance, analysis, and meaningful integration into leadership development, succession, and performance conversations. Translate leadership insight into action, leveraging UFS and other data to inform targeted interventions and systemic improvements. Partner with Talent Management and Succession Planning to ensure leadership development strengthens bench strength and readiness. Define and measure leadership capability growth, establishing clear impact metrics and executive-level reporting. Lead and develop a high-performing leadership development team, building enterprise credibility and operational excellence. This role operates at the centre of that shift, working in close partnership with the VP, Global People & Leadership Development to shape leadership standards and ensure they are consistently developed, measured, and reinforced. By integrating philosophy, development architecture, executive programming, and feedback mechanisms, you will position leadership development as a strategic lever for performance, culture, and long-term growth. Do you have what it takes? Core requirements: Proven experience leading enterprise leadership development in a complex, global organisation. Deep expertise in executive development and senior leader interventions. Demonstrated experience defining leadership frameworks or philosophies at scale. Experience owning and interpreting leadership feedback mechanisms (e.g., 360 or upward feedback). Strong credibility and presence with senior and executive leaders. Experience integrating development with succession planning and talent strategy. Strong strategic thinking combined with operational discipline. Ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in highly matrixed environments. Great to have: Experience partnering with leading business schools (e.g., IMD, INSEAD, LBS or equivalent). Coaching qualification or executive coaching experience. Background in organisational development or systemic leadership approaches.
