This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because: A Day in the Life: Demonstrated transformation and/or larger scale project management experience, e.g., implementation of SAP, forecasting and inventory management, S&OP, control tower, etc. Strong 3PL management and success, including proven experience selecting, negotiating, structuring and managing successful long-term partnerships SAP Experience; demonstrated experience in data, analytics, and/or control tower implementation Business and commercial oriented, ability to see the big picture, communicate and influence senior level stakeholders locally and cross regions Hands on orientation, especially with the approach to problem solving, particularly for candidates from larger organizations that may have larger teams JD/Core Responsibilities: Oversight and responsibility for: Relevant regional budget oversight, in partnership with regional president, global capability leader and finance teams Regional inbound freight management, in partnership with the global freight team, balancing cost and service levels; coordinate and support regional carrier selections and transition; facilitate critical handoffs across relevant teams, including production, trade compliance, and local fulfillment operations Relevant regional global trade compliance, in partnership with our global trade compliance team, optimizing processes to manage duties and free trade agreements where possible; support APAC region specific compliance programs, e.g., Japan, Taiwan product labelling and translation requirements, assignment of Tariff Quotas, and ensuring teams or maintenance of system records where applicable China Product Compliance and customer complaint handling, driving and leading GB testing program for the China business, minimize product compliance risks Relevant regional distribution and fulfillment for merchandise and non-merchandise products across all business channels (Retail, Wholesale, Travel Retail, e-Commerce) for China, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan, including capacity management, alignment against forecasts, promoting and optimizing local inventory management; support product services, e.g., repair operations in partnership with regional and global sustainability teams Outbound transport management for local regions, including vendor selection, negotiation and performance management to meet service and cost targets Driving fulfillment and meeting shipping, VAS and compliance requirements for wholesale accounts, e.g., Middle East product compliance labelling or other compliance based DC VAS programs. Supporting sustainability topics related to the logistics and distribution function Management and direct oversight of all 3PL and regional vendor relationships.
