We’re seeking a future team member for the role of CAO to join our BNY Wealth team. This role is located in New York City. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Manage multiple administration groups and programs supporting a C-Suite executive, including administrative, operational, and financial initiatives. Oversee one or more business functions such as risk, strategy, audit, or related activities, providing leadership and strategic direction. Lead projects on far-reaching and strategic initiatives, advising executives and acting on their behalf in areas including policy, governance, budgeting, compliance, and talent strategies. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements focused on service excellence, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, risk management, and control improvements. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required; MBA preferred. 15+ years of experience in financial services or related business partner functions with supervisory, management, and administration experience preferred. At least 10 years of systems management and cost-effective budgetary responsibility experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams, motivating lower-level managers, and leading recruitment efforts. Strong ability to oversee compliance, risk, and audit activities, formulate and review policies and procedures, and manage core management reporting and key risk indicators. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,500 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
