The Senior Director, Marketing, Hardware Systems, is one of the most exciting and demanding in our marketing team. It is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing, brand and external communication strategies, tactical plans and programs to develop compelling value propositions and optimize market share and profitability. It works across a broad and varied portfolio of products, solutions and services to develop and maintain market orientation for the business. It partners cross-functionally (e.g., with sales, strategy, R&D) and leads market research to assess current and future market conditions, competitive product, service and pricing practices and changing customer/prospect dynamics to influence new product/service development.
This position reports to Vice President, Marketing, Cytiva, with a dotted line to the President, Hardware Systems, and is part of both Cytiva’s global marketing leadership team and the Hardware Systems leadership team. The role is on-site at our Amersham Place, UK site.

What you’ll do

  • This senior leadership role is accountable for marketing, demand and lead generation for Hardware Systems full portfolio of hardware, software, connected systems, digital and automation offerings, SaaS, equipment services and service offerings.
  • Align Hardware Systems stakeholders on strategic and tactical marketing goals, including engaging upstream with R&D and product management in market-oriented value-proposition design
  • Define marketing campaign strategies, NPI launch programs and lead generation that supports revenue, share of wallet expansion and therapeutic process acquisition goals and objectives agreed with product and commercial leadership
  • Own and facilitate the Hardware Systems marketing planning cycle aligned to the overall Cytiva marketing planning process and partnering for campaign design across all relevant teams in Cytiva.
  • Develop, lead and coach a multidisciplinary team of market-oriented segment-led and product marketers with a focus on domain knowledge development and marketing excellence. Constantly assess and align team with evolving market application and segment trends
  • Budget responsibility for lead generation, Tier 2 marketing events, market and customer insights and development of process application data to maintain Cytiva as thought leader in the bioprocessing space
  • As a part of the Hardware Systems leadership team you will continue to define the future of a new business in a very dynamic space
