Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Director, Medical Affairs to join a forward-thinking pharmaceutical organization based in East Windsor, NJ.

Responsibilities of the Senior Director, Medical Affairs include:

  • Support development and execution of medical plans and tactics aligned with strategic goals
  • Provide product and disease expertise, lead training for internal teams and partners
  • Lead MSL team and build trusted relationships with KOLs and internal stakeholders
  • Deliver scientific presentations, lead advisory boards, and engage at industry meetings
  • Identify product gaps, support clinical research, and manage publication planning

Qualifications for the Senior Director, Medical Affairs include:

  • MD, PharmD, or PhD required; Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
  • Minimum 5 years in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong communication skills for teaching complex scientific concepts
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to travel up to 30% for meetings and fieldwork

Compensation for the Senior Director, Medical Affairs includes:

  • Salary Range: $230k
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
