Position Summary Senior Director of Sales, Growth, and Sustainability will nurture and acquire new clients and business opportunities, driving growth and profitability for the hospice business unit. This person will identify and develop new business opportunities, and build meaningful relationships with referral partners, hospitals, clinics, physician groups, and all types of skilled nursing and senior living communities. The director will also evaluate existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn't. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain existing business while achieving sustainable growth and market expansion Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, payors, customers, hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted-living communities. Evaluate existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn’t. Identify and develop new business opportunities. Manage key client relationships and work to build new ones. Expand the profile and reach of the organization and its brand. Lead a sales/marketing/customer-service team in a way that achieves growth targets and results. Develop and strengthen internal and external relationships and processes that will lead to increased lead generation and market share. Provide guidance and support to team members, setting clear performance goals and conducting regular evaluations. Build cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth. Track emerging markets and trends. Foster an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the organization and across all teams and work functions. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless and positive experience for patients and their families. Identify and recommend new services. Propose and develop strategic partnerships. Help to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them. Research and identify new markets. Fulfill requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners and customers. Examine and analyze marketing and sales data to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives. Prepare regular reports for the executive team and board of directors, offering insights and recommendations. Requirements EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field, MBA a plus 5-10 years’ sales or marketing experience 3-5 years’ supervisory or management experience PHYSICAL & OTHER JOB SPECIFICATIONS Able to hear, speak, read, write, and type well enough to perform required job duties. Ability and willingness to maintain and drive a personal vehicle. Must have a valid California driver’s license and state-required automobile insurance if driving for YoloCares business.
Responsibilities
