QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience managing high-performing digital marketing or strategy teams.
  • Proven track record overseeing multi-disciplinary teams (web, SEO, paid media, automation).
  • Certified in Google Analytics and Google Ads.
  • Clear, persuasive communicator who can confidently lead client-facing discussions and pitches.
  • Deep understanding of digital trends—AI, automation, privacy, UX, SEM/SEO, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a bias toward action and results.
  • Comfortable presenting data and recommendations to both internal stakeholders and executive clients.
  • Agency experience strongly preferred.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Director of Digital Strategy will lead the Web, SEO, Digital Ads, and Marketing Automation teams, ensuring that all digital initiatives align with client goals, industry best practices, and emerging trends. This strategic leader will serve as the agency’s internal and client-facing digital expert—balancing technical knowledge, leadership, and communication excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor team leads and directors across Web, SEO, Paid Media, and Marketing Automation departments.
  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and refine digital strategy across clients and departments—ensuring cohesive execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings, presentations, and new business pitches as a trusted digital advisor.
  • Technology Forward: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge tools, platforms, and techniques across AI, UX, automation, and more.
  • Performance & Optimization: Oversee campaign and project performance, identify optimization opportunities, and uphold accountability across teams.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with Creative, PR, Content, and Client Relations to ensure unified campaigns and client satisfaction.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to team meetups, client meetings, and key industry events.
