Description:
Job Summary: The Senior Director of Financial Operations will oversee the financial strategy, operations, and reporting for Schuyler Farms and its subsidiaries. The Senior Director will ensure alignment with the company’s goals, driving financial success and operational efficiency across all entities. This role requires an individual who is humble, driven, and is solutions oriented.
Humble – Employees that are team players and are respectful of others and the job at hand. Great team players lack excessive ego or concerns about status. Humble employees are quick to point out contributions of others and slow to seek attention of their own.
Driven – Employees who are motivated and focused on self improvement. Driven or hungry employees are always looking for more. More things to do, learn, and take responsibility for. They never have to be pushed by a manager to work harder because they are self-motivated and diligent.
Solutions Oriented – Employees who focus on solving, and preventing problems from occurring, not just identifying them. This is equal parts of problems with systems and processes and the common sense that an employee has about people. They are aware, act appropriately, ask good questions, and listen to understand.
Role and Accountability:

- Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with accounting standards.

- Oversee ERP system implementation and integration across financial operations to improve system-wide effectiveness.
- Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring and coaching the finance team, recognizing achievements, and promoting inclusion, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure robust internal controls and regulatory compliance, manage internal and external audits, and implement audit recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Vice President and senior managers to implement EOS, aligning financial and operational strategies with long-term organizational goals.
- Lead Level 10 meetings with direct reports to ensure company-wide alignment with long-term strategic goals. Attend other Level 10 meetings across departments to ensure all initiatives and goals align with the overall organizational strategy, providing vision and direction for continuous improvement.
- Provide vision, strategy, and leadership across departments, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Foster an organizational culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
