Description The Senior Director of Information Technology will lead and evolve the technology function for the HistoryMaker Family of Businesses. This role balances hands-on operational leadership with forward-looking strategic planning to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient technology systems that support the various disciples of this diversified real estate company. This leader will manage a small internal IT team and external vendors while developing a 3-5 year technology roadmap aligned with business growth. Requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute a 3–5-year IT roadmap aligned to company growth Identify opportunities to improve cycle time, margin, and reporting visibility Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience Lead ERP, CRM, and operational system optimization Create scalable systems architecture to support additional volume Partner with department leaders to understand operational needs and identify technology solutions. Oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud systems, backups, and disaster recovery Manage ERP (e.g., NewStar/Sales Force, HighArc/etc.), CRM, purchasing systems Ensure uptime, performance, and support team members Lead vendor management and contract negotiation Own IT budget (CapEx and OpEx) Lead and develop 4 IT team members Create clear accountability and performance expectations Foster service-oriented IT culture Strengthen cybersecurity posture Ensure best practices in access controls, data protection, and risk mitigation REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 10–15+ years progressive IT experience 5+ years in IT leadership Experience in homebuilding, construction, or real estate strongly preferred ERP implementation or optimization experience Experience managing $2M–$5M IT budgets Proven ability to translate business needs into system improvements Ability to translate business needs into effective technology solutions. Strong executive communication and leadership skills.
