Description

Overview:
The Sr. Director of Information Technology will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Property’s IT systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational excellence across all technology systems. The Senior Director will be responsible for developing long-term IT strategies, managing critical vendor relationships, ensuring cybersecurity readiness, and optimizing technology investments to support property operations and guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key member of the Executive Committee, advising on technology trends, infrastructure needs, and innovation opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a forward-thinking IT strategy that supports resort-wide business goals and guest experience initiatives.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI integration, and guest-facing technologies to enhance service delivery.
  • Administration, security, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of all site hardware and software.
  • Manage technical team and complete all performance reviews of staff including training and job assignments and follow up.
  • Support of end user, infrastructure, back office and guest environments.
  • Develop and maintaining documentation of all hardware, systems and software licensing to IT audit standards.
  • Recommendations for improvements and enhancements to existing systems and hardware.
  • Technical on-site project lead for installations and upgrades of property systems and hardware.
  • Vendor support management and communication.
  • Management of warranties, replacements and upgrades of all hardware and infrastructure.
  • Plan and budget all aspects of IT environment.
  • Maintain IT audit compliance.
  • Maintain PCI\DSS compliance AOC deadlines and scanning/remediation responsibilities.
  • Communicate and enforce adherence to all CoralTree Hospitality IT security standards, practices and requirements.
  • Technical project manager partnering with site departments to develop criterion for software system implementation, upgrades and enhancements.
  • Elevate issues as appropriate to corporate IT resources after due diligence and review.
  • Communication of support issues and resolution on a monthly basis to CoralTree Hospitality Technology team lead.
  • Liaison for communication of CoralTree Hospitality IT requirements, practices and standards to all property personnel.
  • Manage support environment and provide on call 24x7 error resolution for site hardware and systems.
  • Must be able to work flexible days/hours – some on-call duty is required.
  • Lead and mentor the IT leadership team, including the IT Director and IT Manager.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, & LICENSURE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • or equivalent levels of certification and/or demonstrated on-the-job skills required.
  • Certification in MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCSD, A+, or systems currently used at property preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft software required.
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership, including at least 5 years in a multi-outlet luxury hospitality, resort, or mixed-use property environment.
  • Deep knowledge of hotel systems (e.g., Opera, Infor, SynXis, MICROS, HotSOS, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Hospitality experience in a complex Resort strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience with cybersecurity, compliance frameworks, and IT governance.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to communicate technology solutions in operational terms.
  • Demonstrated experience in a networked computer environment.
  • Experience supporting large-scale renovations or property technology upgrade
