Description The Senior Director of Marketing and Growth is a strategic leader responsible for owning the end-to-end marketing vision, strategy, and performance at InCharge Debt Solutions operating in a complex, regulated financial services category. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and partnering closely with the CEO and Board, this role is accountable for enterprise-level growth, brand authority, and marketing ROI across all channels, platforms, and audiences. This role exists to set direction, make tradeoffs, and scale impact. The Senior Director leads through orchestration, enablement, and decision-making, empowering internal experts and external partners to perform at their highest level. This role serves as the organization’s senior marketing voice, translating business objectives into a cohesive brand-to-demand ecosystem that drives measurable growth, trust, and long-term mission impact Requirements Executive Mandate · Establishing marketing as a strategic growth function, not a service department · Unifying fragmented brand, performance, content, and technology efforts into one operating system · Elevating InCharge’s national authority and visibility relative to competitors · Ensuring marketing investment decisions are grounded in both effectiveness (brand) and efficiency (performance) Strategy & Leadership Own and evolve the organization’s multi-year marketing vision and roadmap, aligned to business goals. Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, COO, and Board on growth opportunities, market dynamics, and brand. Establish clear success metrics that balance near-term revenue impact with long-term brand equity. Lead, mentor, and retain a high-performing marketing organization, building future leaders. Leading marketing transformation during systems migration while driving adoption, behavior change, and capability uplift across teams. Drive cross-functional alignment across Marketing, IT, Client Experience, Financial Wellness, and Partnerships Hold teams and agencies accountable for performance outcomes, learning speed, and continuous optimization. Ensure marketing supports high-quality client acquisition, retention, and lifetime value not just volume. Digital Marketing & Brand Oversee multi-channel campaigns including paid search, display, social media, email, and content marketing. Ensure brand and messaging consistency across all channels and campaigns. Design and optimize customer journeys that drive acquisition, conversion, retention, and long-term engagement. Technology & Analytics Own and optimize the marketing technology stack (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, digital ad platforms). Partner with IT and vendors to ensure system integration (CRM, CMS, contact center, analytics dashboards) for seamless reporting. Collaborate with analytics teams to implement advanced measurement tools (attribution modeling, A/B testing, multi-touch tracking). Evaluate emerging digital trends (AI in marketing, personalization engines, predictive analytics) and recommend innovations. Compliance & Governance Oversee marketing data governance, including data quality, compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and ethical use of information. Drive adoption of marketing automation and personalization technologies to improve targeting, nurturing, and retention. Budget & Resource Management Manage marketing budget, contracts, and vendor relationships to maximize efficiency and ROI. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities. Required: 10+ years of progressive marketing experience. Expertise in digital marketing strategy across SEO/SEM, social, email, content, and paid media. Demonstrated ability to design and optimize customer journeys for acquisition, conversion, and retention. Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics). Proficiency with marketing automation systems (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot). Strong knowledge of marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Looker, Tableau). Demonstrated success managing external vendors and agencies. Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred: Experience in nonprofit, financial services, or mission-driven organizations. Working knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance best practices. Proficiency with attribution modeling, personalization strategies, and A/B testing. Experience with AI-driven marketing tools (chatbots, personalization engines, predictive analytics). Track record of successfully implementing new marketing technologies and driving adoption across teams. Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience. Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA, MPA, or related field).
