JOB SUMMARY:

Terraboost Media seeks ambitious, intelligent, clever, hard-working media sales executives who are passionate about helping brands reach millions of daily, engaged in-market consumers through our exclusive wellness billboard kiosks in thousands of retail and community locations across the US. We’re seeking national sales executives from the New York, Boston, and Chicago areas.
Terraboost Media operates a massive place-based media network in most major US supermarket chains, pharmacies (including all Rite Aid, CVS, and Walgreens), shopping malls, airports, health clubs (LA Fitness), and more. The place-based billboards dispense sanitizing wipes to consumers, leading to 80%+ consumer engagement. The networks provide tremendous scale, hyper-targeted locations, engaged impressions, and low CPMs.
Our advertisers run the spectrum from large pharmaceutical + consumer packaged goods companies, to automotive, entertainment, insurance, technology, public health, travel, education, and more.
We drive results for our advertisers by leveraging data to select the specific locations which will perform best, as well as utilizing calls-to-action such as QR codes to drive sales, inquiry, couponing, and other ROI for our advertisers. We generate more than 280 million daily impressions of in-market consumers with fully viewable, unskippable, unblockable, targeted engagement at their fingertips.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong background and focus on advertising sales with pharmaceutical accounts.
  • Experience and knowledge of the healthcare industry and key pharma clients.
  • Experience working with both agencies/client direct partners to drive book of business.
  • Must be organized, energetic, detail-oriented and have excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Exudes a positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy and is a team player.
  • Great qualifier to focus on specific actionable opportunities.
  • Ability to think and plan strategically, adept at solving problems and bringing timely resolution to issues.
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with internal cross functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong computer skills and high level of proficiency with CRMs, MS Office, Windows, LinkedIn, Facebook, and social media platforms.
  • Proven success or a desire to succeed.
  • Travel is not required but can be helpful.

Responsibilities:

  1. Cover the most strategic agency and direct pharma accounts that we’ve identified as being the best prospects for our media.
  2. Get potential advertisers’ attention through e-mail, phone calls, meetings (in-person and virtual), strategic travel, and more.
  3. Once you’ve captured their attention, stimulate their imagination! Set value-added, consultative sales meetings where you can gather information and at the same time demonstrate the aptitude to make recommendations that could help the clients achieve their goals using data.
  4. Be an amazing listener so you can understand needs (rather than assume) and have the wherewithal to quickly make suggestions and qualify along the way, so you can deliver the most meaningful proposal possible while being the client’s advocate. When meetings aren’t possible, connect through email and get clients interested in exploring ideas and reviewing opportunities in that manner. Bring up the most relevant of our selling proposition for the client you’re engaging with.
  5. Work with data analysts to generate proposals that exceed client expectations as a trusted advisor. Be capable of analyzing data to come up with compelling, persuasive stories that show potential clients how they can benefit from your thoughtful recommendation(s).
  6. Meaningfully follow up in a manner that shows you’re empathetic to the client, their needs, challenges, and goals. Demonstrate you want them to succeed and will be with them every step of the way.
  7. Close business!!! Once closed, follow up in a professional way and add value at every step, ensuring they are happy and will repeat advertise with you. Renew the advertisers by examining results and evolving towards better solutions for the future.
  8. Follow up with inbound leads from time to time. Maintain accurate pipeline and report out on a weekly basis. Be a valued member of our team and family that truly believes in what we’re doing!
