DRIVE FACILITY EXCELLENCE ACROSS OUR LONG-TERM CARE NETWORK

We’re seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Director of Plant Operations to oversee plant and maintenance operations across our network of nursing home facilities. Based in Fort Worth, TX, with travel required, this leadership role reports to the VP of Plant Operations and is essential in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant environments that support resident care and organizational growth.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Has 3+ years of management experience in plant operations, preferably in long-term care or healthcare
  • Demonstrates strong budgeting, project management, and vendor oversight experience
  • Understands healthcare compliance standards (e.g., CMS, OSHA, NFPA)
  • Has working knowledge of CMMS and facility analytics tools
  • Brings excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Walking: 5–8 hours per shift
  • Sitting: 4–6 hours per shift
  • Standing: 1–2 hours per shift
  • Climbing: 1–2 hours per shift
  • Lifting: Up to 50 lbs.
  • Driving: 0–3 hours per shift (facility-related travel required)
  • Must be able to work extended hours and respond to emergency situations as needed

Responsibilities
  • Partner with facility leadership and vendors to define maintenance needs, renovations, and capital project requirements
  • Oversee capital and operational budgets for infrastructure and equipment investments
  • Manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery with minimal disruption to care
  • Maintain survey readiness and ensure compliance with CMS, Life Safety Code, and other federal/state/local regulations
  • Lead inspection processes and corrective action implementation
  • Standardize preventive maintenance and safety programs across facilities using CMMS or other tools
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and track performance metrics
  • Support facility expansions and transformation initiatives
  • Promote technical development across the plant operations tea
