Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Director of Product Targeting Strategy, to support a top-tier credit union headquartered in McLean, VA. The Senior Director of Product Targeting Strategy will lead the strategy and execution of targeted marketing campaigns for consumer lending products—credit cards, personal loans, and auto loans—by managing data-driven systems, analytics, and a team of analysts to drive smart growth and profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT TARGETING STRATEGY INCLUDE:

  • 12+ years of experience driving targeted marketing strategies and analytics, ideally within financial services.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage teams and complex initiatives.
  • Expertise in predictive modeling and machine learning, including regression techniques and experimental design.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and CRM platforms like Salesforce and Experian Ascend, with strong communication and data storytelling skills.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Marketing Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Economics; Master’s preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Design and lead data-driven targeting strategies to grow consumer lending products across credit cards, personal loans, and auto loans.
  • Collaborate with product and analytics teams to develop predictive models and segmentation approaches that enhance campaign performance.
  • Establish and manage a test-and-learn framework to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and drive profitable growth.
  • Oversee a team responsible for optimizing direct mail, email, and digital marketing campaigns using advanced data insights.
