SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in React.js for front-end development, Java (Spring Boot, Microservices) for back-end development, and MySQL for database management.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale, distributed systems and high-traffic applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to drive technical strategy and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Understanding of NoSQL databases and other data storage solutions. · Experience working in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence executive leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams to build high-performance, scalable, secure applications using React, Java, and MySQL.
  • Define and implement software development best practices, including coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
  • Architect and oversee the development of cloud-native applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, UI/UX, and other teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing emerging technologies to improve software solutions.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics to optimize software quality, delivery speed, and system reliability.
  • Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and hiring strategies to build a world-class development team.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and regulatory standards in software development.
