JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior Director, Operational Strategy, who will be focused on evaluating our business lines and corporate departments by consultative partnership, while improving operational efficiency. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Operational Strategy, this role will drive operational performance and business transformation across the enterprise.
The Senior Director acts as a key advisor and catalyst for transformation to identify, assess and drive performance improvement, cost reduction and quality enhancements across the enterprise.

EXPERIENCE TO DRIVE CHANGE:

  • 10+ years managing complex, enterprise-wide transformational programs that touch on various areas of the business and deliver high impact/ROI
  • Ability to think through & manage around potential upstream and downstream impact
  • Focus on execution and results: establishing high standards for performance, setting goals and developing plans, following through and holding people accountable for results
  • Can simplify complex business problems and drives understanding, consensus, and resolution
  • Demonstrated learning agility and experience working effectively across the enterprise
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and influencing skills that focus on empowering team to achieve excellence
  • Active listener able to validate and influence across organization
  • Adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals
  • Change-leader mindset willing to challenge status quo in a collaborative and inclusive manner that brings stakeholders along; Resiliency in the face of challenge & ability to lead teams through difficult situations
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms and tools such as ERP, CRM, data analytics and RPA/AI
  • Experience across multiple industries and functions (e.g., healthcare, pharmaceuticals, finance, workforce management, technology)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Enterprise Transformation, Change Management, Business Consulting

    This is an exempt position. The base compensation range for this role is $170,500 to $213,200. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. The selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan.
