Senior Director, Planning & Operations– Marketing & Loyalty and Luxury
This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA
This is a unique opportunity to play a high-impact role at the heart of two of Hilton’s most critical areas which include Marketing & Loyalty and our Luxury Brands (including Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and our LXR collection). As Senior Director, Planning and Operations- Marketing & Loyalty and Luxury you’ll operate as a key strategic advisor and integrator, driving clarity, connection, and high performance across teams that shape how customers discover, experience, and return to Hilton.
In this role, you’ll work directly with the group’s leader, Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Luxury Brands, helping to lead and evolve a fast-paced, globally connected organization. You’ll shape how we operate as a team, engage our people, connect across the business, and bring our vision to life — from unforgettable luxury stays to inspiring content and social media engagement to loyalty programs that reward and delight our most passionate guests.

IT WOULD BE USEFUL IN THIS POSITION FOR YOU TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING CAPABILITIES AND DISTINCTIONS:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or an advanced degree in a management or organizational development program
  • Previous Leadership Advisory/Chief of Staff experience
  • Experience in the Hospitality Industry
  • Experience leading people
Responsibilities

TO FULFILL THIS ROLE SUCCESSFULLY, YOU MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Twelve (12) of professional experience in loyalty, hospitality, or consulting
  • Five (5) years of work experience in a chief of staff, consulting, or marketing role
  • Experience working and navigating large, matrixed organizations
  • Hybrid role based in McLean, VA (in-person 3-5 days per week)
  • Travel up to 25%

You’ll be part strategist, part operator, and part culture builder — a true right hand to our Marketing & Luxury leadership. Responsibilities include:

  • Team Integration & Culture: Along with HR, identify connection points between the Marketing & Loyalty and Luxury teams to create shared clarity and strong collaboration, while honoring what makes each function distinct.
  • Executive Support: Act as a force-multiplier for the CMO and Head of Luxury Brands, helping them prioritize time, focus, and initiatives across diverse business needs and teams.
  • Meeting & Event Leadership: Own the planning and facilitation of leadership meetings, team offsites, and key internal communications — turning conversations into action and momentum.
  • Insight & Innovation: Stay on top of market trends and the competitive landscape to provide timely recommendations that inform leadership decisions and future planning
